Refund policy

Changed your mind? Here is how refunds work.

A new Pro subscription can be refunded in full within the first two weeks. After that, cancelling stops future charges but the current month is not refunded. The details are below.

Who charges you

Every SnapHost charge is made by SnapHost ehf., and that is the name you will see on your card or bank statement. If you see a SnapHost charge you do not recognise, write to us before you contact your bank. It is almost always a workspace you or a colleague created, and we can tell you which one in a minute.

A full refund in the first 14 days

If you subscribe a workspace to Pro and decide it is not for you, ask us within 14 days of the first charge and we refund that charge in full. No reason is needed. This applies once per workspace, to the first charge of a new subscription, and it applies to the amount you actually paid after any discount.

After the first 14 days

After the first 14 days, a charge is not refunded. Cancelling stops all future charges, but we do not refund the rest of the month you have already paid for, and we do not prorate a partial month. The same goes for a subscription that renewed because it was not cancelled in time: cancel it and you will not be charged again, but the renewal itself stays.

Adding a paid member to a workspace is charged from the day they join. Removing one takes them off the bill; any adjustment for the rest of the month shows on your next invoice rather than being paid back.

How to cancel

Close the workspace from its settings, next to the plan and billing tab. That cancels the subscription at once, so nothing more is charged, and it permanently deletes the workspace and its pages. If you only want fewer paid members, remove them from the members page instead and the workspace stays.

Failed payments

If a card payment fails, your paid features stay on for 7 days so you can update the card. If it is not updated in that time the subscription is cancelled and the workspace falls back to the Free limits. Nothing is deleted.

How a refund is paid

A refund goes back to the card or wallet the charge came from. We send it within 5 to 10 business days of approving the request. Your bank may take a few more days to show it. We cannot send a refund to a different card or account.

If you disagree with a charge

Write to support@snaphost.ai with the workspace name and the date and amount of the charge, and we reply within two business days. Please give us that chance before opening a dispute with your bank: a chargeback takes weeks to settle, whereas a refund we agree to is on its way the same day.

Larger teams

A workspace set up by hand on invoiced billing is covered by the terms agreed for it, which take the place of this policy where they differ.
